Has anyone true colors have come out since your weight lost?
Samantha Ann replied to Cupcake's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I've lost friends. I've become more passionate about stuff I love. I was mouthy before. lol. but now Im not afraid. Idk what it is. Maybe its because I was the walking mat for so many years and now im changing myself. They didnt like it so I told them to kick rocks. I have more people in my corner than I thought. -
I wear a shaper under my clothes and shape leggings. I love them! I feel more like woman with them on. I didnt do the compression after surgery, I wish I did. I know it helps with the pain.

get up and walk after surgery! I did that at the hospital, but not at home for a few weeks. I wish I would of, but I was afraid to hurt. Good luck! I had surgery oct 27, down 60 lbs. I would do it all over again in a heartbeat

My hair has been coming out, but I have noticed when I have my protein for the day, or do more than I have been, its just normal. Regularly, we lose almost 100 hairs a day. However we're not regular anymore Mine isnt so much where I have to clean out that trap daily, but also I dont wash my hair daily. Keep up the good work!!

@@tiffikitty, things have been great. Of course I've had my moments, but its just trial and error. Learning what I can have and cant is annoying, but Im working on it I am so energized and happy. Wouldnt trade this feeling for the world -

@@AmyC65, if she's doing it herself then moving her arms up and down might hurt. I do hair for a living and I didnt do anyone's hair till I was 6 weeks out. I did do my own right away. Just do what makes you feel comfortable. -

Thank you! I'm finding a lot of people from highschool have been so supportive. I've been doing girl days with these people that I haven't seen in over 11 years. Its nice.

I had surgery Oct 27. Extremely excited about my process. Dating a new man, down to size 22 (I have never been a size 22), happy. I'm losing some friends and that's fine. I've always been the type of girl that didn't put up with much bs when it came to jealousy and all that. I have a group of friends that we called ourselves the fat girls. Now that I've had surgery, and my other friend had the sleeve, we're both finding out how rude people are. I wish we had a support group around the Joplin, or Missouri area. Or friends who are going through the same thing. People to meet up for lunch, or a movie.

I get the unflavored protein from isopure. I make smoothies, add it to pudding, and so on. I love it. Keep up the good work!

RNY in 07 and lost track of myself

Keep up the work. And welcome back -
I'm sorry you're going through so much. Make sure you get your protein in. My body has stopped rejecting protein and since I can have it the pounds have been shedding off. Take 15-30 min a day to get your heart rate up and tell your family to stop acting like children. Take care of yourself. If you want to vent, send me a message!
