angewil60 replied to vsg_vixon300's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
We all are so very sacred of gaining the weight back and we have to always work harder than the next person. I am always watching and praying that I never have to see large size clothes again . I hate being fat and looking big. I love not having to ask if they have My size. Yes we all will fall but just don't stay down. -

Am I being a dishonest Christian?
angewil60 replied to TeamMe's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I understand not telling anyone,I am the same way. People who know that you had weight loss surgery act as if you do not have to work to loss weight, as if you took the easy way out and as if it doesn't count. You are talked about either way so I just keep my business to myself and as for now I feel that even some of my family I wish that I had not told. Family as well as others treat you different and the more the weight fall the dislike shows. Love yourself more yourself more and just hold on to GOD's hand. He loves you no matter what weight we are , he is happy for us. -

angewil60 replied to Gladys62's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Iam praying that God will turn things around for you. I could not hold down my shakes so I was told by my doctor to just stop them. I still have a hard time with foods and water but I just keep prayer that things will get better. I had my surgery on December 9th of last year and are still not where I need to be. MY FOOD is being chopped up still and I can't drink a lot of water , just a glass a day if I am lucky. -

Water and Protein
angewil60 replied to ShrinkingEbony's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I am 2 months as of the 9th of this mouth, but food and water just won't stay down, it very hard to eat anything and go into the bathroom because it comes up before you take a second bite. It doesn't matter what I eat , it just doesn't go down even water I can not drink 8oz sometimes in a day. I keep getting this big air bubble and after it my stomach feels as if someone hit me very hard. I just don't want the pain -

I had my sleeve today it went well everything went well when I get there they um prep me and I'm I was given again and a midget my cast with Ted hose went to the bathroom they have you took some more information today and then the anesthesiologist came in to do for sale until we're here be doing intended. But can you tell me where I was going to go to the emergency room and if you see here and asked if we had any questions I was worried it down to operate out and let me know when I woke up again I was in recovery and I was giving you pain medicine cuz I was kinda hurting some and then from there I went and took them test two if I hadn't would liek from the incision from the the surgery itself they went very well I came back to another room and in there she came to me and she did me ask me about some more medicine and its me and took my blood pressure I had to get up and I had to walk and it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be and I walked up and down the hall with one of the nurses and you tell me since the test was friend and when I walked in and I had to go to bathroom to you and for you leave so I was little so says now that was on the way home.

I can better write and talk about my surgery now, sorry Yesterday I try to talk and aloud the phone to type for me. I went and had the sleeve it went very well and yes I had pain meds to fight the pain. I was up and down all night I went into a time of just throwing up but today I feel so much better and I was told that If I feel better that I could also shower this evening. I just thank God that I made it through and now I am on the road the road to recovery. I am glad that everyone had laugh at my first writing I am sorry about that. Keep the faith.

It Monday @ 1:17 am I am up just finding things to do, Tuesday @ 7am I check into the hospital for a sleeve surgery. Everything is going through my head in hope that I forget anything. I am blessed to have my husband who I have talked his head off. This has got me crazy and I am up just moving around . Today is all clear liquids and @ 12 midnight nothing by mouth. We will be taking off early tomorrow morning to make sure that I am there ahead of time. I have alright done all blood test and I also had to do a M.A.R test the hospital registration was done ahead already also. I was told what door to enter and on what floor to go. Surgery will start at nine am. Dr Clark will be doing my surgery, he is located in Newport News Va. I have loved working at this point with him. He is the type of doctor that you can reach at anytime, and have even told me and my husband that if we had any to please call him. He went through everything that would happen in surgery and how after I would have to walk. I was giving a large cup with a small metal ball inside also a shot cup with medicine cups, a bag that we can take to the hospital and some packs of different kinds of shakes to try. He made sure that we are ready, and told us that he will be there early to talk if we would have any other questions to ask. He told us that when people go home after surgery they have found that sleeping in the bed is very hard so he said that most find it better to sleep in a recliner. My husband went out and got me from Craig's list a recliner. My doctor also gave me three prescription to have fill so we won't have to wait on medication to be fill after the surgery. We have all the shakes and and vitamins along with my B-12. So you can say that I am really ready to start a new life. I am taking God with me, he has been there from the beginning. I am blessed to have a good support group, my husband, children and a few family members a some friends. I have learned that you can't tell everybody and everyone will not be very support. I thank God for groups like this also, I can meet others who understand and are going through the same thing. Please pray for me as I go through surgery on Tomorrow.

It doesn't matter what you do people are going to talk. I told some but sometimes your own family can be your worst enemy. Let them talk you have to stay strong for you and keep on working because this journey doesn't stop we will keep fighting until the end but know we are here for you.
