I don't eat unhealthy snacks... I am a "grape" fan.. I only have 3 cc's in my band. Like I said have been sick for the past 6 weeks and finally on the mend. I know the band is a tool... Believe me I have changed my eating habits, I don't have anything fried, I eat only healthy snacks and healthy meals just the fact is that I am HUNGRY all the time... Don't know what I am missing... Or am I really hungry or is my brain hungry?

I had my second fill today.. The dr. travels from LA to Bakersfield about a 2hr drive. He said for me to go eat something and make sure I didn't get stuck. He said that if it got stuck to come back before he left back. They just called at 1.30 I had just finished lunch no problem... But I am still hungry... Guess will go back in 2 weeks for more... Fun :wink2:

Thank you Allie.... I had a fill 2 weeks ago... First one and only 1cc had lots of problems with my band at the beginning tomorrow going back for another... Can eat a horse right now and feel like trying.. Seems to me that I am always hungry.. The funniest thing is since my surgery I crave BBQ Chips (YUMMY) never liked those except on rare occasions.. My husbands favorite so they are always in the house... I hope tomorrow helps... Thanks again

I have had this problem since surgery 07/30/08. We tried everything.. Now on Colace 200 twice a day and a magnesium tablet. On top of it all I have pulled my back out... I sound like a whine bag... But I hurt... I was just the opposite before surgery could go all the time(sorry for being gross).. I hope these meds work.. But I would hope they would wait until I get off work:):redface::cursing:

I am post op 7.5 weeks. I am still losing about 2lbs per week. I have absolutely no fluid in my band. They did a prefill at the beginning but do to it being to tight and ending up in the hospital it all had to be removed. Now is the time I should start getting my fills but I am scared to death, what happens if I get stuck, what happens if I end up in the hospital again.. I am so scared..

I had my surgery July 30th, also had some complications. Now ready to eat anything in site but been keeping it down to a minimum. Called today for my first fill.. Since I had trouble with a prefill I am kind of scared but I will do it slowly. Say a prayer that all goes well..:thumbup::eek:

all went well not under flour. Started with 3 CC but by the time I left we were down to one... He said that since all of the problems we will start slow. So 1 CC at a time..

Well no loss in 2 weeks. So today is my first fill and scared out of my mind.. My stomach hurts thinking about it...Wish me luck:ohmy: Well had my fill didn't go bad.. He started with 3cc's but I ended up with one.. He said that I had to many problems to be aggressive and I agree. When the 3cc's was in I was so tight and the Water kept coming up... I would rather start slow and proceed gracefully... and since I am not paying for the fills there is no reason not too!

I have asked my insurance company that question she said there isn't a code.. I was going to change doctors and they told me that they didn't bill insurance at it would be $300.00, I about died:eek:!!! I called my old doctors group back they said all the fills were covered with the surgery... Guess where I will be headed???

Ok pretty much I can eat anything never any problem until last night :cursing: I was eating and I got stuck, I had eaten this item before and got stuck, now could it be I just have a problem with this item or does it mean I still have restriction. I am confused on the restriction feeling.. Can someone explain?:thumbdown:

I read where everyone says they found their sweet spot can someone explain?

1.) Who's you're insurance company? Anthem Blue Cross 2.) What state do you live in? California 3.) Was your plan provided by your employer or do you pay for it out of your own pocket? DH employer employee contributed 4.) Are you banded yet, waiting for approval, denied...etc? Insurance paid all but $300.00:thumbup:

ok I must be a real pig.. I eat way more however I don't have a fill as of yet. Guess its time to get one. Today B cup of milk and an hour later small banana L smart ones lunch ravioli S 4 pretzels d to be determined

I am post op 7 weeks... lots of times I don't have time to fix a breakfast, and lately I have been craving cereal... Does anyone eat cereal now for breakfast, I miss the milk, and ready to move back on to getting my milk intake.

When I saw the dr on Thursday he told me to start... I have never lifted weights my whole life... I was banded on July 30th

Don't lurk be proud your loss is a loss... If you get discouraged then you give up... Stand up and YELL I LOST 16LBS and I AM PROUD!!!!

Well I am taking it 2lbs a week... I haven't had a fill yet but the dr says as long as I am losing to leave things alone. I agree little nervous about a fill.. Had the munchies yesterday... but stuck to grapes.. Good luck all!:cool2:
