    Liquid diet lifesaver!!

just type in fitweb.com then and I am sure there will be link to the ebook. It is definitely worth trying again, there are 100s of recipes on there and some include adding fiber cereal (all in the blender with the rest of the ingedients) to help you feel full and stay full.

Anybody started the pre-op diet yet??

So far I have put black bean soup, 99% fat free new england clam chowder and vegetable soup in the blender and they come out quite good. You can also add the protein powder to them. You can still suck them up through a straw and the soups keep you quite full for at least 2 hours or so. If I had to do clear liquids I would add some Fibercon or something so the fiber can help you stay full. Anyone else have any ideas? Do you have to do clear liquids after surgery? :help:

I sat down with the surgeon and told her that I can't stand those shakes (too sweet) and she said that I can take any bean soup or vegetable soup or any soup with a little bit of chicken and put it in the blender with some protein powder and the fiber will help keep me full. It really does make a difference with both the hunger and the taste.
