best of luck,,, who knows you may NOT need it !! its not that much fun !!

I can only speak to my experience,,, most alcoholic drinks and beer,,, will be off limits,,, for at least a few months after WLS... I know my doc said wine would be a good thing to start back with if you wanted,,, beer has lots of carbonation,,, sounds painful,,, just thinking about it,,, im 4 yrs post op,,, any way,,, I decided after ,,, to forgo,, so Ive been sober for 4 years,,, BEST decision of my life,,, please take this endeavor seriously,,, this is not a cure all,,, if you dont change your habits you will go back,,, and re gain the weight,,, I decided to take this GIFT and use it to its fullest,,, sounds kind of fruity,,, but im dead serious,,, 4 years of maintained weight goal,,,, lots of gym / great nutrition , exercise and SOBRIETY I doubt I will ever go back,,, you can and will fall into old / BAD habits,,, I wish you luck,,, WLS is just a head start,,, but ya gotta change your eating / drinking / active habits !! best of luck

do you find that you seem to judge overweight people now ?? or is it just me ?? please dont eat that ice cream or cookie,,, I frequently try to bite my tongue,,, Look I was a FAT guy,,, 325 at my heaviest,,, now 160 ish ,,, steadily for 4 + years,,, (sober too) did surgery help me ?? absolutely,,, just one step in the process,,,, but ya gotta change your way of looking at food.. I always say,,,, after I mention WLS,,,, does FF and sweets go in me,,, yup,,, ya gotta make a choice to change ... re think your whole way of eating,,, if you dont you are destined for failure,,, I regularly still see / consult my dietitian,,, work out / stay insanely active,,, and extremely watch what I eat,,, I have recently started IF (intermittent fasting) for health and fat burning,,, results ,,, Im curious if anyone will really admit,,, to shaking your head to a overweight individual,,, I actually on a long follow up appt,,,,, WLS doc appt,,, spoke to some folks about the journey and was very willing almost boisterous to praise its,,,, life CHANGING results

funny I told most everyone about my surgery,,, but now almost 4 years post op,,, people I dont see ,,, comment how did you loose weight,,,, I tell them its a long story,,, although I always say surgery was a tool in the weight loss journey,,,, I tell em good eating habits,,, or being completely sober is my biggest accomplishment ,,,, its been a great,,,, journey,,,, -
so,,, over 3 years post op,,, 325 to 170 look and feel amazing,,, also my food and weight intake,,, have pretty much been rock solid !! no fluctuation,, food is FUEL.. dont crave it to any sense anymore,,, funny as I watch people gorge themselves,,, then say how come I dont loose weight ?? LOL,, anyways been a pretty steady gym rat too,,, but still have loose stomach skin/FAT,,, is surgery the real only alternative?? what is ever-ones thoughts / experience,,, so curious !!
