    Having a hard time....

Thanks so much ladies for the advice i truly appreciate it! Im just going to slow down and just get my fluids. Yes i am taking vitamin B and my doc told me to try to get one meat protein in a day acutely.
  3. This weekend I tried to start my "Baby food Phase" its been very hard! I don't know if my new stomach is just not ready yet? Or if the pureed rotisserie chicken and mixed veggies was too heavy, but I only ate a few teaspoons and I've been in pain and sick feeling all weekend. I am not sure if I experienced dumping syndrome or what. So far the only things I can successfully eat are unsweetened applesauce, sugar free Jello, and I had a few teaspoons of hummus. Yesterday I had greek yogurt that went well. Today I had pureed roasted garlic cauliflower I could not even eat a 1/4 of a cup. Of course I'm still on my protien shakes, but I'm not sure if I'm getting enough nutrients, because I'm feeling weak at times. I am also having a hard time finishing 3 shakes a day. The next step is just to get with my nutritionist and figure out what I need to try next. Has any other sleevers had these issues? Any ideas? SOS I need help lol!!!

    Hey Sleeve Weavers! Feb 2015!

Lastly its going to be very hard to get all 60 grams of protein down a day. Try to find a brand with the most protein so you don't have to force yourself to drink them. the Syntrax Nectar Whey Protein Isolate have 23 Grams of protein so i only need 3 a day

    Hey Sleeve Weavers! Feb 2015!

It took my a few tries to find a protien shakes I like. First I tried Premier Protein it tasted to milky for me. I'm not a lover of milk at all. Next I got Pure Protein it just tasted like chalk. Both of those shakes were liquid. So next I tried Whey powder protien. Syntrax Nectar Whey Protein Isolate is the best tasting one I found. It has to be very cold and shaken very well. My favorite flavors are the chocolate truffle, fuzzy navel(peach), vanilla bean and

  9. Today I went to my 1st follow-up doctor's appointments I am 8 days pre-op and down 12 pounds!!! It feels so great, but I know I still have a looooong way to go. I'm not ready to give myself a goal weight just yet, I don't want the extra preasure. Today my doctor informed me I can start on mashed and pureed food. I am not sure why, but I am having serious anxiety about starting to eat "regular" food in any form. I think part of it is a fear of gaining weight back, and also over eating. I have been doing very well with my protien shakes, now that I have finally found one I can stomach. I just really don't want to mess this up! Okay a few questions: what foods are foods pureed/mashed? I don't eat pork or beef and I'm not even 100% sure I would even like pureed meats? Please give me some ideas of things that worked for you, and the best way to prepare it. I have a nutribullet. Thanks in advanced!

Hating that I told my friends from college

My surgery date was Dec 3rd, I got weighed when I arrived at the hospital and I lost 16 pounds mostly due to anxiety and the pre op liquid diet. From the time i stepped off that scale until i went back to thr operation roon the conversation consisted of "Do you really wanna do this? "Why can't I try to lose the weight on my own?" I know my family just loves me and cares but I am 25 years old I made up my mind that this is what I want to do for me and I would appreciate it if everyone would butt out! I have recently decided that I will not be disgusting my gastric sleeve with any other family or friends because I don't care to know their opinions.
