Hi Moxy28. I'm new here also. Just recently joined. Nice to meet you here. I had my first appointment with a bariatric consultant October 29th. We discussed weight loss surgeries and I told him I lean towards the sleeve and bypass over the band and asked to be considered for those. I see the dietitian on November 28th and my own psych on Dec 4 to discuss whether he is happy for me to go ahead with the weight loss surgery. If I get the go ahead I'll have to wait for the multi disciplinary team to meet and discuss my case so a decision can be made. I have now decided that I would like the gastric bypass and have been researching on YouTube, sites and now this forum; where I've already found suggested literature to read. I'll be buying this tomorrow. I'm a Newbie considering and researching gastric bypass. So far using YouTube, sites, now this forum and Alex's book tomorrow. Looking forward to it
