Look up the 5 day pouch test...I'm in the process of doing it now. It may help you get back on track and help control the carb urges! -
Where are the November Sleevers?

How's everybody doing???? I have recently fallen off track. I stopped journaling and started eating unneccessary carbs, grazing, and drinking booze again. My weight lost had stopped. I haven't gained any but haven't lost any either. I do still work out pretty hard 5-6 days a week. My body is still changing as I gain muscle but the scale is not moving. I have been close to the same weight for 2-3 months. This week I went back to basics. The first two days I did liquids only. I'm now progressing to more solid protein type foods. I've journaled everything. I eat 6 times a day in which two of those are drinking low carb protien shakes. I'm starting to feel better and like im back on track. I'm down 5 lbs already so I'm hopeful my weight loss will begin again. Maybe not how it was in the beginning but at least 5-10 lbs a month. I wanna know how others are doing who were sleeved in November?? Started at 350lbs and am now 235lbs. -

Hello, I am 9 weeks post-op and am eating pretty much normal foods now. I try to stick to three small meals and two Snacks a day. I'm getting around 70 grams of Protein a day and am able to get all of my Water in. However, I find my self hungry all of the time. I can easily get 850-1000 calories in a day. Anyone this far out hungry all of the time? Any suggestions. I'm a little worried that old habits are going to start coming back.

It's been four weeks since I had my sleeve. Things are going well. The first week or so it was difficult getting enough protein and water but I am doing much better now. Week 2 and 3 I had a stall and didn't lose any weight at all. I was starting to freak out and kept asking myself what I was doing wrong as I was eating all of the things I'm supposed to eat and I began excerising daily. However, at the end of week 3 the weight started coming off again. Now I am down 30 lbs since surgery and down 55 since the preop diet. I'm started ot notice changes in the way clothes fit and also I just feel better overall. This makes my excited for the future. Oh and Go Lions!

I will be moving on to soft foods starting on Monday. Any ideas for recipes? I will be four weeks post op.

If you didn't have any issues with pureeds then it's probably just too soon for the soft foods. Everbody progresses differently. Maybe go back to pureeds for a week and then try soft foods again. There's no rush. Might be a good idea to talk with your surgeon about it as well. Good Luck!

Anyone have any good ideas for an exercise routine? I have been walking everyday since surgery but looking to take it up a notch.
