Shadow, thanks sooo much for the info regarding the shakes. Im going to look into it tomorrow Ive been feeling discouraged. Ive only lost 8lbs so far this month. Mostly, I stay active with walking at least 1 to 4 miles a day. I am getting more Protein and typically I do well with my Water intake. Any suggestions group? My highest weight was 321 and I am 241. My preop weight was 292! Thanks you guys!! We really do have a fantastic group! Anyone hear from Bronx??

Great posts today from the team! So encouraging and furthermore, there are great milestones happening! So damn proud of you peeps! I stay positive because of all of you! Ive only lost 2.lbs this past 2 weeks..ugh! Im on prednisone because of hip pain, and believe it or not, I am munching for the last week Damn side effect of the medication! But, my pain has been less, which has allowed me to move and walk more each day! Keep rockin' ladies!!

Layknee, I haven't had any unusual BM. Have you called your surgeon?
-
Lisaco, back at cha!

Beni, that is happening to me asnwell. I would agree you to the reason of the hunger. I eat sugarless ice pops to satisfy th e hunger. Only 15 calories!

Wildgoose, I could only laugh at your post. Fat clothes... before the surgery I never referred to my clothes as fat clothes, although knowing the bitter truth of it! However, I can say fat clothes without any issue.. because I know the fat clothes days are coming to an end!
-
Misstvb, yeah!!! I'm sure thay compliment or acknowledgment made your day! Im still waiting for that experience! You go girl!!

Ammylynns, your last post was well said. From my highest weight to today,I have lost 80lbs. Most people do not comment verbalize noticing any weight loss. I have 80lbs to go. I haven't made it to the regular size clothes.. I envy all of you who have made that accomplishment! Perhaps, 25 more lbs. I am dressing myself in a more trendier way.

Beni, your post is an excerpt of my eating pattern. I caught myself tonight. I started feeling the food slowing down, and I stopped. In the past, I've challenged myself with one or three extra bites, and thensweats, nausea, rapid heartrate, and the rush to go outside to prevent vomiting. Glad to know I'm not alone! Mu family is supportive, but they have NO clue to the challenges of this new lifestyle.

@Beni... I think we're all in the same boat! When I start feeling full is when I have the sensation the food is not going down freely. At this point, I feel like I've experienced enougj horrible after effects from eating the wrong foods, or eating too fast! It seems like a crap shoot sometimes. Steak is one.food that doesn't go down well.. just as a side note, today inwas almost 2 pounds more than yesterday!! And I walked 3 to 4 miles yesterday, I stayed on task with my food/ except for getting enough protein. Does anyone experience this frustration?

Im guilty of mindless eating! I suffered the same symptoms! Its a continuous learning process!!

@Crmmfw.. can you explain to me what do the initial mean at the end of your post? Your posts are very supportive in reminding me the structure that is needed to stay on track! Thank you!

Beni, TY for the Stall article! Ive read it a couple of times, and read it to my family so they can understand the process. Keep posting the informative stuff. Sadly, I am not computer savvy, and don't know how to post articles, etc. Now that i understand the "Stall" phenomenon, I can hopefully break the STALL sooner! You go girls!!

Bronx, my heart aches for you and your child. Depression is paralyzing! Pls take the time to get it addressed,so you can continue in your journey of a leaner and happier woman. I suffer from depression. 3 years ago i went into Sudden Cardiac Death. It was 5 days after my father died of complications of Alzheimers. The year of 2012 was not my friend! I had multiple hospitalizions and pronounced.dead.on 2 separate occasions. I understand your position of NOT wanting to go back to the ER.. but, it does sound like further testing is needed. Perhaps your PCP can order outpatient tests. Your back issue does need yo be addressed ASAP. It will get better.. please take control of these multiple and binding issues. Its for you and your baby! Thanks for giving us an update. You have.definitely been in my thoughts Hugs!!

@@Beni and group, I have stalled for several days, and then I'll lose one or two lbs, and then I'll be ok until the next stall. I was 259 at the first of Dec.. mid month i stalled. Now, I'm at 248, and hoping at my 4 month check up/Jan 7th, ill be close to 240. What a journey this is!! I have NO regrets. I carried a 20 lb bag of dog food, and I was telling myself it was heavy.. then I reflected on how much I have lost thus far.. 73lbs! Im half was there! The New Year feels pretty darn good! And one resolution is NOT a diet! It is to embrace my new changes in the spirit of gratefulness.

The IV medication will help tremendously. I was a IV infusion nurse for years, so im partial of IV meds and the wonderment they provide!!

@@Luna, im so sorry you felt defeated at Target. Its dealing with those types of feelings after losing and wanting to see tangible results. I certainly can empathize. However, even we can still see FAT on our bodies..its less! Therefore, we can smile in victory! I know it'll take awhile for you/me/us to see the vision we have kept in our hearts and minds. I think for so many years, we have been our worst enemy. But, this is the time to love ourselves, and claim each victory we achieve regardless how small or large it is! Keep doing you!

@@layknee, you look great! What a perfect gift! Im going to Google it, so I can buy myself one!!
