Thanks Mystjin and Danaclark2 Update I have found a Doctor in Nashville who is out of town until the 5th His staff states that he will take patients from Mexico and does fluoroscope. I will get to speak to his coordinator next Tuesday wish me luck..

I have his name down to call is it has been very hard to find a doctor Iwent to one in Jackson Ms but he will not do it under floroscopy and I really do not think he put anything in after three visit and 4 months I didnt lose weight and gave up....

I have not heard of him I had my surgery done in TJ surgery wonderful follow up care didn't happen never a call. I am having fills done in Jackson MS.

Well Girls I did not have my fill in Nov the Doc stated that he did not feel the port. I was very let down and was afraid I would have to go back to TJ. My sister lives in Vicksburg and she found a Doctor in Jackson that would do her fills so I went there. Dec 19th I had the fill done (1cc) but still am eating like a horse. I will go for second fill on the 16th I am hoping for more control. Please pray for me. My sister is at (3cc) and she lost 25 lbs. since Dec 5 th. I hope I will be there soon.

I also went to Mexico my Doctor was Dr. Lopez you will here good things and bad things about all Doctors just do you research and alll will work out. I did have a hard time finding a Doctor near me to do my fills but I have finally found one and my first fill is Nov. 3 yea!!!!!!!!. You will not have a problem (if you got the money honey they got the time).....I wasn't to happy about the followup care that they said they would give. Phone monthly noway haven't heard from them at all. My Sister also had her surgery done she finally called them and they called her back. They were to call the following week to give us a list of Doctors in our area for fills no call........... Make sure you also check on followup care. I know I chose not to got back for fills but give me some bedside manner please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Surgery went great I and my Sister are doing well and losing weight not as fast as we would like but losing...... Good luck

I will pray for you that you get everything that you ever wanted out of this surgery. I have lost 32 lbs and I am going for my first fill Nov 3. I had a hard time finding someone close to do fills because I had surgery in Mexico. I am finally set up and can't wait. I am eatting almost anything I want with out restriction. The fills are a must. I had my surgery in August. Do just what they tell you and you will lose the most. Good luck and may God and his heavenly angels be with you.

Well I know just where your coming from, but now I am at the point that I wish I had those restrictions again the weight really falls off during this time. You can do it hang in there. In two weeks this will be a dream that you have forgotten. Enjoy the weight loss while you can because it will slow down.

That all sounds so good on paper even doing all that each of you has stated. But when it comes down to that moment when everyone around is stuffing food in their mouths you have to say hey look at me I didn't get this way by giving in. If I want to continue my life in this body I have to say look at me I am beautiful I love myself and I don't want to go back to the way I looked and most of all the way I felt. I eat about 3 to 4 oz a meal and don't eat between meals. I also seem to not feel up as well I am now in my 4th week and have lost 26 lb. I eat just what the doctor ordered.

Well you have to go in to this with knowing your life has to change. We have tired every fad known to man and it hasn't worked this was like the last straw for me. My insurance did not pay for the surgery. So I checked prices in the US and couldn't find anything close to TJ so I decided to check prices there. I started check the Doctors and decided on Dr. Lopaz. I had read postive and negative thing about him and of corse ever other Doctor I consider. So I went there with an open mind knowing that all i would be out be be the flight if I was not conforable with the Doctors or the Hospital. I was a little nervous about the xray clinic and the lab where my pre-op testing was done. At this point I was still not sure of my finally decision. After having these test done I went to Dr. Lopez clinic this was like walking in a different world very modern and neat. I was alittle more confortable. I went threw nutritional evaluation, psychiatric evaluation and cardiology evaluation and on and on and on. I have never had such great care. I had three surgeons and 8 surgical team members all went great I was a little sorer than I thought I would be trip home was a little uncomfortable. I had surgery do on the 8/12/05 and to weighed 235 down to 209 today fell great. I am concerned that when I need a fill I will have the same problem. I am hoping that I will be able to have it done some were close But if not back to Mexico I don't really mind because Dr. Lopez stated that he has seen to meany mess ups doing it blind and this could cause lots of issues. So I opt for fluroscopy. He also states it the will power and that he has had some that do not get a fill for a year. I know that if I follow the diet that he gave me that I will have to spend much less on fill and trip and time. I hope all goes well and keep the mind on where we are going and don't look back.........

I Would Check With Your Docter Is It Heavy. This Not Uncommon With Heparin Better To Spot That Have Blood Clots. My Daughter Has Been Fight Blood Clot And Heparin For A Year Now And Is Finally Off Heparin. She Always Had Heavy Long Period. But What She Was Told If It Continue She Needed To Followup.

Well I had my surgury done on Saturday morning an had to fly out this Monday. It was really hard. I read what others are telling you and I think you need to give yours an extra day. And for sure take someone with you. Most of the nurses speak very little engish and you are in no shape to try to get them to understand what you want.
