I'm a 42 year old, divorced mom of 2 boys, 18 and 22. I am an upbeat person, I LOVE music and I enjoy all the girly things like shopping, buying makeup, girls nights out and hanging out with my sisters.
 
I have been considering WLS for awhile. My former employers health insurance would not cover it but  halleluYUR,  this new job does.  I saw the surgeon last month and he informed me that my insurance didn't require much and I am thankful.  I did not quite meet the BMI requirements (5ft 5in, 238 pounds) but because I have HBP and osteoarthritis, I would be a good candidate.  Prior to having surgery, I have to have a psych eval and see the nutritionist. Then I can schedule surgery.  I hope to have the surgery the 2nd week of December.
