I am a 35 year old mother of a 4 year old daughter. I am 11 days post gastric sleeve operation. I haD the gastric band approx 7 years ago and exceeded my expectations by far. I began that journey at 300 lbs. at the time of my band removal I was 160 pounds. All was great until my band slipped and nearly eroded into my stomach. At the time of the removal I refused to have any other procedure done due to me feeling so horrible and being So weak. Now here I am nearly 2 years later starting this journey over :(. I began this path At 302 pounds. Weighed in yesterday at 288 pounds. Yeah me!!!!!! I have had a rough week and a half and am looking for support and encouragment from people who understand where I am and where I want to be. I want to help others in their journey as much as possible.
