There are factors other than "amount" that add weight, namely, "what." If you don't keep a detailed food log, start now. It's too easy to lose track and remain unaware of overdoing treats and such. Or are you going through a change in cycle? Or are you due for a general physical exam?

When I had to go back on Lyrica for a neuropathy that flared up, I gained ten pounds in two weeks and would have kept on gaining if I had not decided to "tough out" the pain until I could get to the Pain Clinic. I has taken me most of two months to lose those ten pounds. I will frequently gain two or three pounds overnight on 800 - 1000 calories a day and have to work like the dickens to get it back off.
