  1. Yea you can actually go to your local passport office and request and expedited passport card or book and it can get back to you within a week. I did not even request that and received mine within a week. You can not cross back in to the united states with a birth certificate. It is not possible because I have a family member who tried and was just not possible. Good luck!

Thanks. I didn't want to say anything until I had all my answers to my questions and with the holidays I just tried not to even really think about it.

Just stay strong and stay focused and you will do fine. You will struggle at times, but well worth it.

Ok so I'm not changing my surgery date I"m having my hernia fixed along with my sleeve. phew I was kinda freaking out a bit but everything is all good. I officially start my all liquid diet today which is not a big deal since I was down to one meal a day anyways. I know I probably will get a headache but oh well only suppose to last a couple of days and I have dealt with a headache longer then that! I hope everyone enjoyed their holidays and is ready to start their new year off right!. Everyone stay strong and if anyone wants to really keep interested my Facebook info is in my profile since I check that way more then this at times! Almost January people!

    Calling January Sleever????

mmm so this morning I was doing nothing and got an itch in my belly button and noticed a small lump in my belly button a painful one. I think I might have a umbilical hernia...this will really suck if I have one cause I can not have surgery with it. I will have to push mine off for awhile. Guess I'll know before my date is set.

Lying about what type of surgery..

5'5 and almost 240lbs I know someone asked that question and I have heard the easy way out thing so many times I no longer consider those people my friends or peoples who opinion I consider! Good luck
  9. I lived in Jersey for 10 yrs and even though on your form for medical leave you need to disclose your info to HR you do not have to go into detail to your direct boss on why you are leaving. You can tell HR to keep that info private. Its their job to provide you with that type of service but it is illegal to lie about why you are taking the medical leave. If you have an after surgery injury while on the job it is something about their liability... I can't quite remember but you can tell HR and not your boss or co workers for that matter..

So today is my first day on my official preop diet it is going just fine although I thought I was tired before oh man I'm really tired now. I feel like someone put a sleeping pill in everything I drink. I think it is kinda due to lack of carbs but I will get through it and just deal. I hope you ladies are having an easier time then me about it. 3 wks and one day til surgery ugh hurry up December!

    Calling January Sleever????

Yea youd think that with a 2 yr old a job and a teenager and husband my day would be filled and fly by but dang it , I just feel like time has slowed down to a snails pace. I have found things to do to keep myself occupied when I have time. I put in an extra walk or bought some vid games and I did buy some new books. I guess I'm just ready for this to be over...the pre op part. I want to see real weight loss and feel good about it! Thanks ladies, I'll get it together!
  15. @@JerzyTomato74 I'm not post op or anything but I just wanted to say great weightloss so far for only 7 weeks out ! Congrats I hope that is me too!

    Is Pre Op diet Possible?

It is so possible. I started my pre op diet a lil early and I thought I was going to just eat everything in site by the second day but I just realized that one it was a lot of head hunger and two I needed it into more fluids to keep myself full. If you are able to chew gum to that cause the sensation of chewing seems to help some people. Good luck and stay strong. Know you can do it!

    Calling January Sleever????

I'm in a slump this week that I can't seem to snap out of it. I think it seems like a month is so long away that I'm already tired of the shakes and boring food, I'm doing everything I can to just lose enough weight so I'm in the best shape I can get to for my surgery but man it is getting super hard. Is anyone else going through this?
  19. pre surgery depression? Maybe!

    Calling January Sleever????

So I've been in a bit of a slump the past two days and it has been really hard for me to get on task. I took one day off from working out cause i was literally hurting from my toes to my head from the intense workouts and today I got up late so I didn't get to work out this morning and feel like me day is a waste. I def don't want this to get me down but when I have been able to walk three miles by this time of the day it is really a bummer!

    Calling January Sleever????

@@nairobi78 I have heard people say that the unflavored Protein powder is the easiest powder to handle since it is tasteless. I personally do not any of the powders and have found that I have to lean towards the premade one. Guess good thing about unflavored is if you are taking the time to make your own shakes you can add the powder to it and just taste the ingredients you added. Good luck and let us know how that goes.
  22. @@Angel720 Thanks I did a lot of research and come into contact with some people who went to him to. I also found someone who is going to be there the day after me and we have talked on the phone and will be surgery buddies!
  23. I'm having my surgery in Mexicali, Mexico on January 12th and was wanting to know if anyone else was having surgery there and if they had any questions that they seem were not answered prior to surgery. I'll admit I'm a bit nervous to go out of the country but excited all the same.

    Cant Sleep

Everyday I ask myself this question and I come to the same answer. Yes I did everything I could. I went through all the right steps and didn't see the results I need to continue so this is the right step. You should question yourself time to time on things of this nature it is only nature and think about it is surgery its life changing not something to be taken so lightly. I know this is the right thing for me and if you have come to this point then I'm sure it is the right thing for you! Good luck in your journey and I wish you all the success you deserve!
