Yep, I will agree with all that has already been said. Your band is designed to work when it is filled. So if you have not fill you are going to be able to eat with little problem.

Congrats Jay on hitting one of the magic numbers! :-) I didn't read this before I responded to your message. I am a few weeks shy of my 6 months!

You will be in bandland in no time.

I log my daily intake on fitday. I keep my calories between 1000 and 1200 and my carb grams at or below 30 percent of my total calories. I try and keep my protein at 100 grams or less, but never below 75. I don't eat past 7p and I do my best to get in 60 ozs of liquid a day. I also weigh every single morning and log it on a spreadsheet. I don't get freaked out by variances, because my spreadsheet shows my downward trend on a weekly basis. You will eventually just have to find out what works for you, because not everything is going to work everytime.

I haven't heard anything negative about either one.

My husband was super supportive and was excited as I was about having the band. We both were doing a celibration dance the day I finally weighed less than he did. He is 6'2 and weighed 205 and I am 5'1 and at one point weighed 270...I was so embarrased. He knows the struggles I have gone through. Now my aim is to weigh less than my ex...lol...just 15 pounds to go. A big sloppy kiss to Mark(DH) for all his love and support!

Yes, I take the pill form...they are small pills and I can cut them pretty easy...never had any problem with them going down.

Are you taking Biotin? I had surgery and Sept and started having the same problem. My hair is still thin, but the actual losing seems to have slowed down.

My First Week__________________ Went great!!! I had surgery on a Friday and was back at work the next Wednesday. I really didn't have any problems with gas or pain for that matter. I took a total of 3 pills and that was it. I did end up sleeping in my recliner for two weeks. I am an extreme stomach sleeper and it just felt better this way. I wasn't hungry that first week.

Yep, sounds like gallbladder to me as well. I suffered attacks for 10 years, before I finally met a savvy doctor who took my symptoms and added them up correctly...get thee to a doctor and demand they take alook at yous. Mine was very diseased and should have come out about 9 years before it did. Best wishes!

GNC sells ready to drink Isopure protein in flavors in a fridge. Each has 40 grams of protien a pop..it doesn't taste that good, but it is a good way to to get in some clear protein. They run about 3.59 apeice here.

I drink about 20 to 30 ozs of mainly decaf tea....I love it! I use a decaf teabag, an orange spice teabag and one reg caffiene...in 20 ozs of boiling water...I mix 10ozs of tea with 10oz of water and splenda and enjoy! I adore the smell. I just keep the rest in the icebox and it takes me about 3 days to finish it.
