I didn't start having swelling problems with my feet until I got pregnant and now I deal with it on a daily basis. I can't wait to get down to your weight!! I weighed that one time when I was eighteen.

I completely understand what ya'll are going through...the waiting is absolutely the hardest part. I got mine verbally from UHC over the phone, but still didn't believe it until I got the letter in the mail. It is so close now!

Well, tonight I made homeade lasagne...it turned out sooooo good. I did have one small peice with a side salad. I don't feel too bad, because that is a huge improvement over what I had done in the past.

I am also on a pre-op diet of two of his protein drinks and 2 sensible meals. Whewwww his taste nasty, but I use 1 cup of low carb chocolate milk and 1 tablespoon of fatfree surgar free pudding. It improves(hides) the taste somewhat. I have lost 15 pounds so far, but I had lost the bulk of it before I got my approval for surgery.

Gosh, there are so many good comments on here. Last night, god it was like I was 13 years old again. I was out playing with the virtual model and my husband and I was laughing and having a good time with it. My mother comes up and has me build her model, so I do. Then out of the blue she says now that is the perfect Keri model. I looked at her in shock and said...you built this model and she said I know and that is what your goal should be. According to her, I should have a goal of 125. I said mom, this is about me and my weight loss goal. I advised her if she wanted to get back down to 125, (she is probably somewhere around 150) she was welcome to do so. Then she preceeded to argue with me about the entire thing. I finally made her mad enough that she stomped off to her room in a huff. Man...just when you think you are grown up, the haunts of your childhood just slap you in the face sometimes. My husband who was witness to the entire thing, later said, I finally see what you had to deal with as a child. I love my mother, but I will never make her see, that she can't make me over in her image!
