Congrats Linda! -
I was just wondering, once I have my band in place, I want to make sure that I am staying away from soft Proteins once I am on regular food. Is tuna and chicken salad consider a soft Protein or are we talking liquid Protein as being soft? I did try to locate a thread with this information, but I didn't see anything that specifically dealt with this question. I did read the post from LaMadam I believe that talked about staying on soft proteins longer than one should and what could happen to your band. I want to avoid that.

Thought I might put this on top again, just to see if I might get a response. Thanks for all ya'lls valuable support and advice. -
Mine is in 9 days on the 23rd as well. I have been doing little things. I park as far as I can get away from my work and since we have a huge parkinglot that takes up 20 minutes of my day, because from my desk to my car it will take me 10 minutes to get there. I also put my lunch in the a far breakroom. If I want ice or my lunch I have walk there to get it. It gets me away from my desk and gets me some exercise to boot!

Sues, try those little tubey things that you put in a 20 oz bottle of water. Walmart's Fruit Punch and Orange flavored are out of this world good. (at least to me) From what I can understand you have have suger free hot chocolate..that might be something to try in the morning. I am not banded yet, but will on the 23rd. Diet V8 Splash is also really good, the Tropical flavor. I have been experimenting trying to find the things I can deal with post-band. I too am going to have a hard time stepping away from the diet cherry vanilla dr pepper. *sigh*

I have no problem with any discussion that comes up on the board, this is a adult forum. If I don't agree with something then I pass over it or go to another thread. We are all adults struggling along with our weight issues and our past emotional issues. Sex is gonna come up...because we are all human and that is a human component. My two cents.
