dianeb, search for a post on the forum for trackers...there have been several threads for this very subject. just know that when you put it in your signature...all you will see what you actually copied and pasted...but if you preview it first...you should see your tracker.

Just in case somebody was wanting to try the Starkist Tuna Fillets in the pouch they are awesome!!! There was a 1.00 coupon on last Sunday's paper so I thought I was give them a try. I got the lightly seasoned one and I am totally impressed. I thought at 120 calories for the serving with just 1 carb and 26 grams of protein that I couldn't miss with this one! Check it out!

Me too Jay, I won't get to start mushies until I am 4 weeks post op...which puts me at Oct. 22nd!!! Gosh can't wait for it to get here!

Oh dang I wish that front would come on down...102 is downright rediculous for almost October. I mean I know we don't have cold weather here, but since we haven't had a whole lot of rain this summer...this just adds insult to injury! :-(

Hey Erin, wecome to the board. I am only 5 days post op myself, but my wounds seem to be healing fairly well. I think there have been other's on the board who may had this problem. I am sure someone will have some great adivce....someone always come through for us new banders.

LOL...Jack you are such a treasure!! Ughhh...no I wasn't actually considering putting it on my grilled fish!!! But Kathy on the other hand...she may just be twisted enough to try it...(kathy you know I am totally teasing you!) Yes, I on liquids of some sort for the next 4 weeks *sigh* and then I will be onto mushies...where I will get my oatmeal. I just wanted to make sure I could possibly eat some of my favs again.

Sounds like you are doing great Vanesa! I had surgery on Friday and will go back to work tomorrow. I am looking forward to it. Gets my mind off of worrying about not getting enough liquids and away from FOODTV...lol. I am hooked!

Thanks La madam, I have just protien for breakfast as well, but I would have the oatmeal for lunch with the pb and banana and it would hold me until dinner. Or it did..lol. and then I was back to low carb for dinner as well.

I am on: 2 Weeks of Clear liquids. 3 protein shakes. I have to struggle to get in 40 grams of protein, though. 2 Weeks of Creamy liuqids w/2 protein shakes. 2 Weeks of Mushies w/1 protein shake.

I was standing in the bathroom with my booty hanging out of the hospital gown...and all of the sudden I had the overwelming urge to run out the bathroom door and not stop until my car was pealing out of the parking lot. It lasted for about 10 seconds and then I came to my senses...remembered the 100,000 reasons that I needed this little band. I took a deep breath and walked into the pre-op room....no regrets!! Then I almost cried because I found out that I almost didn't get the band, because my old gall bladder surgery had fused my liver to the top of my stomach with scar tissue. Dr. Benavides was of course able to do it. Talk about an emitional day. Dang...I am so long winded to say...you are acting exactly like you should!

Well after 3 long years of waiting....my Lapband surgery is at hand. I have to be there at 8:30 in the morning! So excited I can hardly type. I want to say a special shout out to B and to let you know that I will wish you nothing but a speedy recovery. Be sure and warm Dr. B up real well for me and may both our surgerys go smooth as silk. MaseAnn, may your surgery go smooth as well! I look forward to being on the losing side very soon!!! I am thankful I found this board, you guys rock!!
