Just for fun I went out to fitday to see what a day eating like this would look like and it looked pretty scary to me. I couldn't locate the caviar or the pate they specified so my totals are a tad off. Calories 1169 Fat Grams 107 Carbs 22 and Protein 38. However, these fats are overwhelmingly monosaturated fats(the good kind). Totals 1169 107 22 38

Laura, my band was put in on 9/23 and mine is hard and still a little swollen. I only feel pain if I press on it or try to lay directly on it.

You will be just fine!!!! This month is going to fly by before you know it. The sleep study was great and the beds were devine, I would have really enjoyed myself if the darn nurse wouldn't have kept waking me up! :-)

Hard to keep a small number of goals here, but here it is: 1. To have the energy to keep up with my kids and for my daughter to never be embarrased in front of her friends, because of my weight. 2. To be healthier and more kind to my body. 3. To be able to put on a slinky dress and shoes that will knock my hubbies black socks off! Those are just a few and some of ya'lls brought tears to my eyes, because I felt the same way about every single one of them...well, except to pee standing up...never really had the desire to do that.

Just a question for all your banders have been around the block for awhile. Will grilled fish be on the menu ever again as well as peanut butter?? I would kill right now for a bowl of oatmeal with peanut butter and a banana mixed up in it... and if I can't have that ever again...I may just have dr b take this band right out...lol...ok..noooo..I won't...but I sure as hell will pout about it for a loooonnng time!

LOL....ewwww...I haven't quite got my mind around chewing something and then spitting it out. but with this liquid diet, I just might have to start considering it!!!

My BMI was 51 when I started on 7/28 and today it is 43.8.

I was banded 9/23 and I felt rough for about 2 days and then I felt really good. I took it slow and easy. I had surgery on a Friday and was back at work the next Wednesday.

I love Lane Bryan'ts panties and bras when they are on sale or clearance. I used to shop there alot because I had credit there, but I just don't go anymore. I am trying not to buy any clothes until I absolutely have to. Weird things about bodies and losing weight. After I had my son in Dec. of 2002 I weighed around 240 and could fit into 18s, but now I weigh less now and can't even get a 20 buttoned up right now????????????? *sigh* PS...Vines..you are so funny!!!! :-)
