Jacqui, I made some for my hubby for his dessert and he loved it. I used the crunchy pb on him and he was amazed at how good it was. Even my daughter was eating it and she is an extremely picky eater. -

Heather if you are feeling that bad, I would stay on straight liquids...not even mushies for 24 hours and then go to mushies for another 24 just to make sure everything is healed and all swelling is down.

I've had it with this fill process, fill doc, fill BS!!!!
banded_for_life replied to lovecats85's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
Laura, the SCOR does a good job of doing fills. That is where I get my fills done. You have 3 people, that their only job is to do fills. There is not even a doctor in the room. They are very good at what they do and I have never had any complaints. You tell them how much of a fill you want or will discuss your fill with you. I am in there and out usually in a little over an hour. -

How do you get your powdered protein to dissolve?
banded_for_life replied to SherryW's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
Yep, patty beat me to it. I use 100% Whey Chocolate powder from GNC. I add a tablespoon of low carb peanut butter, 1 teaspoon of sugarfree/fatfree banana pudding mix....yummmy! If I don't want that many calories, I take the peanut butter out of the mix, but always used low carb milk as well.
