Yep I'm at a stall like everyone else. Keep your head up everybody!
-
Just like everyone one else I've stalled this week. Keep your head up folks. We'll get through it.

Hi my name is Lisa and I'm a food addict. I'm at the pureed stage and I must be honest. I've gone rogue. I had 2 cherry tomatoes and a piece of lettuce. I'm really trying to adhere to these stages but I just want to chew. Thankfully it all went down smooth. I just want to eat normal food already.
-
@@Jennifer 02188 I'm at puree stage eating 4 oz every 4 hr w. 64 of liquids and 70 grms of protein. Two 2 oz snacks in between meals if I feel hungry. Not meeting my liquids and protein yet.
-
In pureed stage and heartburn is killing me. Does anyone have any recommendations?
-
Sleeved 1/5 down 21 lbs. I went shopping today for the puree stage. Everything taste diety to me. I don't like protein shakes, I bought diet snapple iced tea which is allowed. I normally am a water drinker but sometimes I just need something else. Next step is to buy protein powder and just make shakes with fresh fruit. Feeling limited and hope it wont always be like this.
-
Phase II pureed foods starts tomorrow. I'm very confused about protein drinks. If I'm using that as a meal replacement does that count as liquid as well? Also do I only drink 4 oz every 4 hrs? Somethings I'm now allowed to eat that I actually like. Watermelon (super excited about this), creamed spinach, blended yogurt, mashed potatoes w. Gravy or sour cream. If you are headed to phase II please share some ideas on what to eat. Hope everyone is punishing through.

Good luck to evrryone having surgery today! I'm a week post op and I'm down 11lbs. This makes my liquid diet not suck that much. Everyone getting ready pls go in with an open mind. Not everyone is the same. You will have your own journey. I gave myself 7 days to feel some what normal. Take one day at a time and know its going to get better -
1st weigh in post op. I'm down 11 lbs. That makes being on a liquid diet a lil easier. I had about 1/4 cup of coffee this morning. My dr appointment is tomorrow. I'm hoping he'll let me start some mushy food.
-
I'm 7 days oit and over the liquids. My dr. Requires 2 wks on liquids. Is that the same for everyone else? I never want to drink gatorade again. He did say I could drink coffee but I'm not sure I'm ready for that yet. @@XxKimberlyX I had the same pain on my arms. I just assumed it was from them taking my vitals 50 times a day in the hospital.

Hello friends, reporting from the other side. Surgery went smooth. Gas wasn't bad. Worst part was coming out of anesthesia all day yesterday. Besides being tired because my rude room mate left her tv and light on all night. I'm feeling much better today. Waiting for dr. To come in to start my diet, I pray I will be able to tolerate the food. Hang in there everyone! -

My surgery is in 4 days and I'm kind of having a melt down. I'm not afraid of the surgery, I'm afraid of how I will cope w.out my "bff" food. It makes me ashamed to even say that. For most of my life it's been my coping mechanism. Feeling sad eat a huge bowl of pasta. Feeling happy have some cake. To know this will change even if it's for the better is extremely over whelming. It saddens me to recognize how much of a food addict I am. Sorry for being a Debbie downer. HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE! ! -

All my blood work has been done. Last weigh in was a breeze. Now just waiting on results and submission to insurance. January 5th is coming and I'm so excited. Praying everything comes back ok. I might... no I'm definitely going to cry once approval happens. Thank you to everyone that is going through this journey and sharing their story. It really helps to have support. -

@@KSTUZ yay! Fortunately for me no liquid diet is necessary. I actually think it probably going to work against me. We'll see maybe I'll fast a couple days prior. Although no coffee in my system makes me a miserable person to be around. -

Hi everyone. I'm a newbie here. My surgery date is 1/5. It's fastly approaching. If anyone is having second thoughts or getting scared. Just go shopping for clothes like I did this past weekend. It will definitely give you a motivational boost
