Thank you so much, it's so nice having someone to relate to! I'm thinking about getting the surgery during spring break (I'm a freshman in college), we have about 10 days off, and I'm curious if this is enough time for healing post op. I've always been a fast healer, and my mom also had a vgs, and went back to work the following week.

I'm only 18, and I've struggled with obesity my entire life and inevitably will without this surgery. With the approval of my insurance company, I can be booked for surgery as soon as February!
