    Leaks

@@lachellove @@MoniqueMcCoy - anything is possible but why worry about what you cannot really control at this point? I felt the same way and the other concern was the hair loss. I am a little over three months post and I am down 70lbs from my HW about 6 months ago. Follow your doctors & NUTs instructions and breathe and try to relax. I can also tell you that you may feel buyers remorse for a couple of days post-op. Like WTH did I just do to myself???? I had it on day two, first full day home. I realized there was no going back (stomach was in a bio-hazard container somewhere headed to God knows where...). I really didn't have any post-op issues either - no nausea, gas pains, etc. I just grasped the whole idea that it was DONE. Funny thing is I realized within about a day that I NEEDED this surgery to LIVE the rest of my life without huffing & puffing, sweating & squeezing, getting bigger & bigger... NO REGRETS!!!

    In need of 3x, 26/28

where do you live? how tall are you? I have a couple of pieces I just found but idk if its worth shipping - they may not "work" for you. I have been clearing out my closet :/ If I had known about 2-3 weeks ago I would've had a few more pieces.
  6. @@neequa25 - I did the same thing early this year, weighed in at 282, my heaviest. THIS morning I weigh 212! I am a little over three months post-op. It will happen.....sooner than you realize.....

    Taking Medications

I wasn't full off my meds and didn't have issues swallowing. I was told the reason for the smaller size was the entrance into the stomach.
  9. @Jessicacherry3...I am near Jacksonville.
  10. @@More than this, if medically necessary it may be removed and covered by insurance. just want it out or at your goal....you pay to have it removed. this is what I was told by hospital, nut, doctor and BCBS.

    Taking Medications

good morning. I was told smaller than a regular M&M was ok. anything bigger has to be crushed. I break them in half. I was also told no gummies. I believe I can have them in a couple of months. I am about three months post.

    spicy foods?

IMO I would add a small amt and wait and see if you have any adverse reactions. I am assuming you have cleared with both NUT and surgeon? I was told to start small, once I started pureed. I eat a small amount so I definitely want it seasoned.
  20. @@cat127 - good morning. I would week off the caffeine now a little less each day. I love coffee and tea. what kind of WLS are you having?

  23. @@ylluz - I almost did the lap-band for my adult daughter to eliminate her worries about forever changing my guts. I went with my "gut" and have the sleeve. WLS has to be all about your decision, your happiness, your life.... good luck!
  24. @@punklandia - like someone else mentioned...tea unsweetened??? the other culprit may be that you are eating too fast. I sit my fork down in between bites. the couple of times I have overdone it and ate one too many bites was when I was eating and NOT paying attention and putting food in my mouth - if you are eating more than about 20 minutes you also may be eating too much. Are you weighing out your food?

    Constipation

@@samelton68 - Iron constipates me so for the moment I am not taking any additional beyond my flintstones chewable. I was taking a supplement of 27mg. I just did BW post-op for the first time (surgery was 5/6). Nurse said to go off extra iron and we will see where my levels are on 9/8. with miralax daily and extra veggie I am good.
