    Bingeing after the sleeve

@@gabito - did you talk to you NUT about this? Did it come up during a psych evaluation prior to surgery? I think you probably need to call a professional and see if they can give you some direction. Good luck and let us know what happens so someone else out there maybe can benefit from your experience.

  5. Changed my name too - not too comfortable with that info. I am thankful I havent posted any pictures.

  6. @@sleevedtbd - What about other visits to the doctor? ER appts, sick appointments, asthma issues... Did you go to weight watchers? or another place where you weighed in to lose weight....gym?
  7. @@jackiemc1987 - you need to re- focus and get back on track. you know what you are doing wrong. Protein will keep you fuller longer and get rid of the "junk" or at least make it harder to get to.... like @@Miss Mac I have to do that with salty carbs.....

Twinmomma422 - pillow, toothbrush and toothpaste, deodorant and maybe chapstick. I wore my own panties and they provided everything else. I was only there one night and was told to wear comfy clothes in that I could wear home. hydrate as late as possible!

    Still no relief for me

@@Titaniumsleeved2014 - second opinion? I would do it in a heartbeat! I truly have no regrets except that I wished I hadn't backed out in December of 2014.
  13. @ - that's what hubby and I do! He has lost weight sharing
  14. @@dragonfly78 I should have clarified myself: Elevate the head of the bed a couple of inches, in general your body will be slightly inclined.
  15. @@UalreadyKnow - I asked him about my weight loss and he admitted he was "pushing" me to lose as much as possible. I am going to change my stats and stuff after talking to him. it was a good visit. thanks for wishing me well:)

  17. @@glitterpockets - EGD and Psych BOTH re-scheduled???? What the heck???? I just replied to your post about the Psych eval -
  18. @@Nomorethickchick I totally agree with @@bbsbk221 - take lots of pictures and try on clothes as the weight drops. That is the best self motivating thing for me. The scale is wicked. lets us know what you decide...

    6 days post op

@@VanessaVSGforme - are you up and moving around? IMHO - The more mobile you are, the better the digestion seems to be, especially early on. Sounds like you are sleeping a lot and maybe you need to be moving around more. I quit the pain meds, except for at night, after about two days. they made me way to sleepy and I knew that the more I moved the better. You may have gas still in your stomach and that may explain the tightness. You can always call your doctors office and ask as well. Good Luck and welcome to the losers bench!!!

    Insurance denial

@@lizag234 - I doubt if your surgery is disapproved if you will get your money back. Doesn't work that way~
  21. @@Nomorethickchick - I hit 282 earlier this year AFTER backing out late last year. That was IT for me. I have NO regrets. I am 52 menopausal as well. I know GERD is a possibility and so is a revision, but I was looking at diabetes. I have 9 grandbabies and one on the way ~ I have BIG plans. Your fears are pretty common. You have to be sure of this surgery, if you aren't then cancel. Its only a tool, not a magic wand. I had buyers remorse for about a day on the 2nd day post-op. I panicked thinking what the heck have I done with 80% of my stomach? I cant get it back, its in the biohazard can now... Then I remembered why I did the surgery - I needed this tool because I couldn't lose weight on my own. I feel great. I am 4 months post and only wish I hadn't backed out last December, I would probably be at my realistic goal (165-170) now.

    Psych Eval Rescheduled

@@glitterpockets - have you contacted your insurance company or doctor to see who else is qualified? That would be my first thought. You might could call Psych doctor office and see if they can get you in or refer you to an associate of his/hers that can "fit the bill". that's frustrating -
