@@Shainadelphia - yes it could be the hormones getting stabilized. How old are you? I had my first "night sweat" about 6 years ago at 46...gross. Could it be menopause?

Losing Weight In Chunks
jane13 replied to MaMaCole's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I agree I notice that I seem to "stall" when I would have normally had a TOM, which I haven't had frequently since I am now menopausal. I just don't freak out too much unless I start gaining. Then I just keep an eye on it to make sure I don't get past 5 or so and generally I drop that amount, plus some, in a day or so. -
@@Indieflickers - Not to sound stupid but what is "jawbone", besides the obvious meaning?

jane13 replied to agalindo17's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
@@agalindo17 - you can also buy a stool or "rest" that fits along side your toilet on-line, especially if you are a bit heavier, and don't want to test out a stool that may or may not support your weight. -

6 months post and starting to get nauseous of the mornings.
jane13 replied to heav85's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
@@heav85 I was thinking the same this as the OP...get an OTC and eat something small before you take your other meds. You may want to move your BC to a time of the day, when you are not sick (in the am), maybe later....? -
13 days in and not loosing
jane13 replied to australian marie's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
@@australian marie - NO. It is probably a combination of a couple of things - fluids your body is still holding onto post- surgery and your body adjusting to its new "normal". Stay the course and OFF the scale. You are probably also headed towards the dreaded 3 week stall (they happen), so again...stay the course and OFF the scale -

Personal drama - VENTING (bad weekend)
jane13 posted a topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
its been a rough weekend (a lot of personal drama at home) but this morning I hit my tickers halfway point of -58lbs. With 58 still to go to get to my "dream" weight, I know its achievable, but at this moment ~ I don't care. Sorry I need to vent here because I cant at home or out aloud. I walked into work an hour ago crying... not feeling it right now. Adult son has some serious legal issues right now and is probably going "away" for a while. This is my youngest child who lives at home with me and his step-dad - I feel alone. -

Personal drama - VENTING (bad weekend)
jane13 replied to jane13's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
@@GoogleGal8 - he just called and wants to be bailed out. 30k in case he jumps is way too much for me to bite off. I agree he needs to figure it out (life) minus me being his fallback person ALL the time. -
grief counseling? my dad died when i was seven and my mom 16 years later. my mom's sister is like my mom....I cannot imagine life without her. my youngest is legal trouble and she has stepped up. post surgery is trying enough without the drama. I read a lot and have been walking. 24 w/o goes in front of judge Wednesday and like you I am stressing.

I tried to go caffeine free post and gave that up. I drink 2 cups, black, everyday. I occasionally add a flavored SF creamer. I get a cappuccino once in a while, its moderation for me.
