    I have been rejected

@RJ'S/beginning - I am post a little over 6months and after two kids and yo-yo dieting for the last 15+ years my body has gone "south". When I run or walk quickly, and I am bra-less, the girls flap! The tummy flaps as well now. Like @@LipstickLady said only my dear hubby sees me and he says he likes me just the way I am. I accept that. I cannot afford surgery either so I will take my health over cosmetic any day! There are lots of us out here flapping, sagging and drooping. Be proud you are getting healthier and forget the rest. jane

    Thanksgiving and you

@@songsmith - I am going to enjoy some protein first, then a small serving of stuffing/gravy and cranberry sauce. I will probably have that for "dessert".

    Smell made me nauseous

@@Ryan TN - maybe, maybe not. I didn't get sick but the smell of something really sweet (or perfumed) makes me queasier (sp?) now that I am post.
  8. @@Tssiemer1 - focus on yourself getting healthier and make sure mom gets to the doctor as well - hubby is just probably stressing in his own way. It is a lot to deal with for everyone involved You are all in my prayers (including hubby)

@@jenn1 - are you serious? IMHO I would be afraid of circulation issues with all of the binding and etc.

    Just started my journey

@@LadyValeria - great idea, doing the surgery together. I have a very supportive hubby who eats ALOT healthier now so he has lost about 20 lbs since I started my journey. Its a no-brainer to have support!
  18. I cut mine to my shoulders because it was thinning. I am hoping to have it a little longer soon - too curly and poofy short. I have curly hair.

Having a period right before surgery?

I am 52 and WAYYYYY past having kids but because I am pre-menopausal I had to take a pregnancy test "Aunt Flo" hasn't been over but once, and it was a "brief" two day visit, in her old rusty red Cadillac since surgery!!!! WOOO HOOOOO
  20. @Dub - YES!!! I did the same thing. My BP dropped after about 25 lbs, I cut my dose in half. I was also on Vitamins from day 1. Stay hydrated as well. It will make you feel sluggish. I bet its the BP meds.... Congrats!
  21. ditto....you look like sisters!

    Ah... Goodwill/thrift shops

I have, like others, donated tons of clothing to Goodwill. I use to shop there. I went inside Saturday, the brand new BIG store that was just built near my home. I was floored at how expensive the clothes were - $14.99 for jeans? 9.99 for capris? These were not name brands. Now I know how they could afford the BIG store with the kind of expensive landscaping & such~ I will hit the markdown racks at walmart, yard sales or consignment shops until my weight & bank account can compete.
