Will I be ready for vacation?

@@pinklantern - I would say yes, unless you have something else going on. I wasn't a revision, straight to sleeve, but other than staying hydrated here in Florida - I would think you would be fine 2months out.

    Wellbutrin?

I took Wellbutrin a few years back for about 6-8 months and it did nothing for me. No changes in weight, mood, depression, etc. The endo said it would help me feel "happier" and probably help me lose some weight (main reason I was seeing him). I quit taking them.
  3. @@Micoxv - I agree with the OP, find another surgeon who has gone in behind others to "fix" this procedure and see if it is possible to convert to a sleeve. Keep us posted!

you look great! why are you letting numbers on the scale screw with your head?
  14. it will be like this for a while (honeymoon) and then you will probably be able to eat a bit more. This is a tool. Use it accordingly, like you have And STOP eating if you even THINK you are full, one bite can make a BIG difference and you will be uncomfortable
  15. Check with the insurance company, get it in writing just in case. In my case they only 'counted' the start weight. I think it varies because I also had comorbidities, pre-diabetic & HBP, to account for as well
  16. @@AmyMarie79 - yes I have some now :/ Not a big fan of the smell or how it mixes. Not sure if I will buy this again. I like the unjury better.
  17. @@Sleeve Fox - I did generic childrens + iron chewables for the first few months.

  21. @@Sleeve Fox - are you taking the Vitamins on an empty stomach? I cant or I will feel nauseous. Make sure if you are spacing some of the vitamins out because certain ones interfere with the others and cause issues. I think you are still working through your new "normal" and you have "got this". Good luck.

55 and sleeved 3 days ago.

@ - I add a half a scoop of Miralalx to my coffee/drink a couple of times a week if needed.
  23. It depends on a lot of things. If you were very active before you will probably do better than most who were sedentary pre-op. I have a pretty physical job: walking, up and down flights of stairs, lifting, etc. The heat in May 2015 was a lot for me the first week or two post-op. I was outside trying to do some really light yard work. I was also still on full dose of BP meds and limited diet. Once I was able to eat/drink a bit more, things got easier. I would do a little and sit down, do a little more and sit. Husband and adult son were threatening to lock me inside the RV we were living in at the time. We were building a modular home and it was done two weeks after my surgery. I was bored to tears inside and yard work was picking up small scraps of paper, wood, trash the builders left in the yard. When I was down about 20-25 post op (about a month) I realized my BP was dropping to 100/60. That dose was reduced to half and it made a BIG difference. Meeting your Protein and hydration requirements is a big deal and it would be what I would recommend you really watch, even on a short ride or a few rounds of golf.
