I went through ALM and was sleeved on 12JAN. I had a wonderful, supportive experience. I have received excellent "after care" with Rhonda's emails and supportive phone calls. Everyone that was in our "sleeve" group expressed similar statements of satisfaction with ALM staff from pre-op to post-op. It was the best decision I've made in a long while. The Dr. is excellent and really qualified. He answered all of my questions and my procedure went well/smooth. I'd be happy to answer any questions about my experience, feel free to contact me. You won't be disappointed with the service you will receive with ALM. I only have great things to say about them and the experience.

Will anyone be in TJ the week of 12Jan with A lighter me and Dr. Erial Ortiz? (Besides my girl Shizwiz?)

@Sunshine1976: Congrats on making this decision. I am in a similar situation. I live in UT and am also planning to drive down to TJ to be sleeved the second week in January. I am going through A Lighter Me. I am not sure if they are the rock bottom price, but I have had such a wonderful experience with them and appreciate the wrap around services they offer. They pick you up from at border parking lot of the US and support you the entire time. I have only read positive reviews about them. Good luck in your search. I hope you have a positive experience with whichever agency you choose.

Yes, I'm going through A Lighter Me also. I have spoken to Ronda, and she suggested the 30 day meal thing, but I thought it way too expensive for a meal plan. I would be happy to buy pay the postage on the package if you aren't using it.

Thanks so much Nessa39 and Cody's mom. How many days/nights was your trip? From what others have posted it seems you spend one night in hotel, then two nights in the hospital and then one night back in the hotel? Was this your experience?

Any sleevers heading down to TJ the second week of January? Also, question to previous patients, what happens to your support person (spouse) while you are in the hosptial? Do they get to stay in the hospital with you or back to the hotel? Do you tip in USD or Pesos? Thanks! Let me know!
