February Sleevers - how are you doing?
Doll64 replied to healthiswealth's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
My surgery was 2/26/2015. DOS 261 CW 237. This has been the best thing I could have ever done. I walk everyday at work (enlisted my co-workers) and every night I walk or ride my bicycle since the weather is so nice. I did not have any issues in my recovery and have not felt this good in years. I eat about 500-600 calories a day and slowly working up to 60 gm Protein. I am just amazed at how full I am after eating 1 oz of protein and I have had none of my old cravings or uncontrollable eating periods. -

Doll64 replied to VGB's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I am 3 weeks out and I basically eat for the nutrition. Really not wanting to eat anything. But you need something so try. Good luck. -
I was sleeved February 26 and I feel really good right now. It is hard to get the water in and I am slowly increasing my protein. I have one week and then I can start on solid protein. Can't wait. I would love to join the Facebook page and I will pm my information. Good luck to everyone.

Surgery on 16 February 2015 - getting scared
Doll64 replied to Sophieteel's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
My surgery is 2/26 and I am beginning to wonder if there is something wrong with me. I keep reading about everyone being scared but I don't feel that I just feel ready and relief that I am doing it. I have spent 30 years going up and down that I just need to stop the cycle. Good luck to all of you. -
????A shout to the February sleevers ????
Doll64 replied to ☁️9⃣B????'s topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
I am exactly 2 weeks away from my surgery date (2/26/2015). I had my pre-op appointment with the Doctor 2/9 (my birthday) and I was initial told I would have to do a pre-op diet for 2 weeks but he told me not to start that until the 19th. I think I can handle that. I am soooooo ready to get started on my way new of life. Even though I have been making changes these last 7 months I am ready to start on the other side. Good luck to all of you that have had or are getting ready to have their surgery. -
The bariatric Center of Kansas city, Dr. Hoehn
Doll64 replied to jhood2005's topic in Weight Loss Surgeons & Hospitals
I am a newbie driving back and forth from Wichita to KC. Dr Hoehn is my dr. I just had my 3rd appt with dietician so I am getting closer and more anxious. Those of you from Wichita do you go to support groups in Wichita or do you drive to KC?
