Hiya Wendy, I was banded on 27th Sep 07, all the staff there are brill, I live near Brighton "Mile oak", Guy does my fill's I had 2ml then 3ml in a 11.5ml band I have restriction but still eat quite large portions but still losing so no fills for me at mo :glare: I was 17st 5lb on day of pre-opp and today Im 13st 9lb so just over 50lb lost :w00t: but dieting aswell :eek: do you go to a support group or on any other forums. Hiya Lisa "HAPPY NEW YEAR" Hun, good luck with your seconed fill hopefully you will get your sweet-spot, Ive made an appt for my 3rd fill 25th Jan as my portion sizes are still quite large.

Hiya and welcome to the losing side, I had restriction for the first 12-14 days then I need my first fill, there should be a support group near you, there are uk sites where there are people you could also meet for support and talk to but not the size of this support network, good luck with it

Hello Daisey, Your best bet maybe would be to email Christine Bigg (sec) or ring her to find out where you stand Guy Slater did have to get back in touch with the pct after he saw me to get funds released its all a bit confusing. Maybe you should try and make a local support group are you on any of the uk site for support etc locally. Love Debbie xx

Hiya Diasey, no I dont think you can transfer from private to nhs anymore I know you use to be able, sorry about your Husband havng MS my father suffered with this (((HUGS))) good luck with it Hun keep us posted xx

Thats great news Daisey, they are all great at St Richard's, it usualy take 12-15 weeks for your first consultation and then up to 5 months for surgery, good luck with it Hun xx

Yer I go to the one in Shorham but there is one closer to you, but people do come from your way and Kent to ours, the lady that runs ours is Dan she was on the fat docs with Shaw, ours is every seconed Monday of the month.

Hiya Lisa, good luck for next Monday, you should have your first fill if you haven't already I had restriction for about 12-14 days after my surgery, I cant keep of my scales :rolleyes my surgeon's ones make me a pound lighter, where abouts in the UK are you ? Debbie xx
