I am 1 week & 1 day post sleeve surgery. I went to see my doctor yesterday because of a golf ball sized mass on one of my incisions on the right side. It hurts when I sit up, cough, sneeze, etc.. Doesn't hurt to the touch just feels a little warm and it's red. Surgeon said it was a hematoma. Does anyone have experience with how long it can take for the blood to get absorbed by the body? He told me it will happen eventually. Right now I feel so weird holding this egg mass on the side of my belly. thanks-
