I'm shocked they do surgery that close to christmas! Good luck!

I'm on day two also! But I am on a 2 week blended diet, alternating 800/1200 calories every other day. I use protein added to milk, some yogurt, fat free sugar free pudding, banana and other frozen fruit no sugar added. I am also not a milk drinker...but the nestle non sugar chocolate powder actually is growing on me! Probably cuz I am starving... But does make me feel full! Good luck!

What do you have to do the day before??

My surgery is December 15. I'm worried that I am going to be a pathetic mess at Christmas for my kids. Every year I host our large family Christmas on Christmas Eve. I've said I can't do it this year, but will I even be able to go?? Just across town....

I'm 14 days from my surgery and I know as the days get closer I will be scared because I have the best hubby and 4 awesome kids! I had my gallbladder out a couple months ago and I wrote letters to everyone the night before. I lived the fun thing was afterwards I let my kids read what I had written and they were very touched. Don't be afraid, it's good to reflect on what people mean to you. And in the very unlikely event that something happens, you will have left something very meaningful behind. Good luck!!
