You are 3 weeks post op and eating regular food? Just curious because I'll still be on soft foods in my 3rd week.
-
Oh my! I am so sorry this happened to you. I don't have an appeal letter or anything but I wish you nothing but success in getting this resolved.

MrsMike1 replied to bobbyswife's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
I would like to thank the founder of Bariatric Pal, Alex B. Without him there would be no group for us. I also am thankful for EVERYONE who post topics, comments, or just like others. It's all so encouraging. -

MrsMike1 replied to mnmlst's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A

Slow weight loss one week out...Ideas?
MrsMike1 replied to snwitter's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I hope you see some results on the scale soon. I know what it's like to be looking and waiting. No matter what nobody else says, if you're addicted to the scale, none of us can make you change that, WTBS, I pray when you weigh again, you see some results! -
You are an inspiration. BEAUTIFUL

I'm sure that when she sees you, she has noticed all your weight loss and wishes she had those "fat clothes" she gave you. LOL, Karma!

Bariatric Foodies have a lot of recipes to try.

Congratulations but what are NSV's

IDK, I thought we could only hold 4oz at a time. That's like 5 ounces, correct? How long are you post-op? I'm just curious because it takes me forever to get down an ounce, I'm 7 days out, FYI

Is it mandatory to quit smoking?
MrsMike1 replied to kymmiej11's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I'm 7 days post-op and my surgeon requested that I be nicotine free 30 days before but I decided to give them up a little bit before that. My quit date was 9/22/14 with the help of Chantix. They are awesome. I needed a ittlel help because I used to be a heavy chain smoker and if I can quit, you can too. Mainly because there was something bigger in life for me than a cigarette, i.e. WLS You an do it. Good luck! -
Dave, we share the same surgery date but let me tell you this. You are AWESOME already. Great story and keep up the goodwork.
-
Yay!!! Congrats. I'm 7 days out myself. Welcome to our world. LOL
-
I would definitely go for it if my insurance would cover it!

Everything will go in your favor!

I like all of Leslie Sansone's DVDs. Walk away the pounds, etc.. They have power walks, strength training all incorporated into one for at home exercise. Also, if you have Comcast cable , you can go On-Demand for free exercise workouts.
