It took about 2 weeks and yes it was painful but not extremely painful. Kinda felt like a sting. Clean gauze was my best friend with tape. -

I had that issue when I had my breast reduction it's just old blood my surgeon checked it and advised to let it drain. I treated with warm compress to encourage draining and alternate with ice to reduce swelling. You'll be fine as long as you have no fever or odor at the site. Stay encouraged. -
The pain was very minimal I hardly took any of the pain meds

Are there any vitamins that taste better than Flintstones?
nails211 posted a topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I'm 3 weeks post op and my surgery manual suggested the Flintstones with iron vitamins. They are disgusting! Are there any other vitamins out for bariatric sleeve patients that are not too hard to get down? -

Can't stop spitting -4 days out
nails211 replied to MrsMike1's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I had the same problem. I was sleeved on Halloween and I had to spit all day even woke me up at night. My Dr said it was not uncommon but he gave me Zantac for reflux and thank god it worked! -
I've never liked sugar free anything! I've been adhering to my manual as given by my surgeon but I think the sugar free stuff tastes funny and makes me thirsty. Is there anyone who has not used any sugar free foods and sweeteners and had success?

caltrate vanilla calcium chews are delicious! They are super soft and dissolve really quick. I have the vitafusion B complex also they are gummy vitamins also very tasty. -
I had my first post op visit today after being sleeved on Halloween and I'm amazed! I don't have a scale at home so I had no idea. My starting weight was 333lbs prior to starting my pre op diet and date of surgery 324lbs. Today I weighed in at 297lbs!!!! I'm loving my sleeve! It's been challenging eating and getting in protein but losing the weight has me super excited can't wait to weigh in next month! I posted as I see lots of people asking if anyone started over 300lbs so here's some inspiration good luck everyone!
