For the last 9 moths I have dated the most incredible woman. It hit me tonight what has been so great. I never feel bad, self conscious nor even guilty about discussing difficult issues. We are both adults who have survived difficult childhoods and marriages...yet grew through them and used the trauma to get stronger. We have not checked out on our kids and remained engaged. I'm really digging this . This makes me happy and very much at peace.
