    Unflavored protein?

genpro, I do about a 1/4 scoop in my coffee, eggs, yogurt and something else during the day, 30 extra grams a Protein a day.

    Slow Cooker Recipes

http://www.food.com/recipe/10-bean-soup-470575?nl=ema This worked great. Roasts are always wonderful. I put chicken in with Mr Yoshidaas Marinade and give it a couple of hours. But I really like using my slow cooker.
  6. @@Mulepick - I think you will love it when a plan comes together...one of my favorite quotes: "A vision without a task is but a dream, a task without a vision is drudgery, a vision and a task is the hope of the world. ~ From a church in Sussex, England, ca. 1730 Quotes

@stuart85/@Daveo - Everything in dating is challenging, but if the confidence and attitude is down it shows. Now I will admit it has been easier to get dates smaller, but finding the right one, and building a healthy relationship is still a challenge. So I would suggest that if the heart attitude is "I want a woman to affirm me" or "I want a cure for loneliness" it inevitably shows. Hey if this guy could get women, anyone could. Of course I had the body of a god then (Buddha is a god isn't he?)

    Chantix?

Any strong psychotropic drug like Chantix performs differently with sleeves. Some were designed to break open in the stomach, others for extended release in the intestines. Very few people really study this, but it is a real problem: http://www.currentpsychiatry.com/home/article/how-to-adjust-drug-dosing-after-bariatric-surgery/8058b4a117930cc02f8fb767d04687fc.html I quit using Chartix, but everyone told me I acted like I was in a fog, and finally quit tobacco with vaping.

@@CowgirlJane - before purchasing a membership, poke around and see how many active users you have in your area. I was surprised how few there were in OKC. Now if I lived in Dallas, I would have been fine. You see with eHarmony they are only going to match you with people who they think you are emotionally compatible with based on the personality test, so count on maybe 20% even being possible matches. Further note about eHarmony, before you take the test get yourself in a really good mood, or don't be in a needy or bad mood when you do it. I'm not saying that you can "game" the system, but I do know that when I was applying for a job in sales, they wanted me to do a personality inventory, and I got myself in a "Zig Ziggler frame of mind." I did so well on the test they hired me in 10 minutes. I didn't think about that this when I tried eHarmony and noticed they people I were meeting were not great matches based on my long term goals, but dang there was a great deal of sex. (I know TMI, but it was bizarre that it was happening on every date, which is really what I'm not looking for long term).
  15. Yoga and weights help build up the muscles to give tone to the skin. Stay out of the sun, tanning beds. Hot Water is not good for the skin, so cooler showers and stay out of hot tubs. Moisturizing seems to help, but there are no "firming" creams that have been shown to help (sorry, but there is no "cream fairy" to the rescue despite all the hype). Protein, water and pick your parents well, because genetics is the biggest factor.

    3 months out questions

@@hopefulmom76most common cause of narrowing of the esophagus, or stricture, is scarring of the esophagus from reflux of stomach acid occurring in patients with heartburn. Patients with a narrowed portion of the esophagus often have trouble swallowing; food feels like it is “stuck” in the chest region, causing discomfort or pain. worth checking out

@@sgc I would not talk about plans to change in profile. 1) there are those who will sabotage the effort (some women like fat guys because they are less likely to attract rivals, I'm not kidding, read Why Women have Sex). 2) women care initially about where you are now and what you have done, they will care about the future plans later. @@CowgirlJane is dead on right about the male/female ratio on Match.com. I think you might benefit from doing eHarmony. They have a guided intro process and following their script is helpful to those new to online dating. BTW the age of women you want to attract is important. i found that women in their late 40's start getting very interested in how healthy a guy is because they don't want to date a heart attack waiting to happen. good luck
  18. @@LipstickLady - eh, worth a shot, might be helpful to someone else down the road
  19. @@LipstickLady - If Einstein is right, and you can't solve a problem at the level of where it shows up, maybe you need to change the horizon of focus... So you can look at a higher plane of thinking, are you deep down wondering/second guessing your decision to have permanent surgery? are you having problems feeling worthy? are there other issues/pressures in your life that had been covered over by food in the past? I'm not saying this is the case, just some questions to ponder.

Get a good counselor. You are more vulnerable than you know, you have been using fat as a metaphorical shield for a long time, be careful there are many bottom feeders who will do their damnist to derail your progress. As you lose weight, your confidence and self esteem will improve which will make you more attractive as you go. Enjoy the process. It all works together, believe me.
