I think it's good timing for recovery. But you will have to be super supportive of her and make sure to keep yummy Christmas treats out of her sighting the beginning. Tough time of year for surgery!

Had surgery there with Dr Valenzuela. Done in January. 70 lbs down now. My experience was perfect :-) no worries at all!

Started at 253 lbs and size 18/20 and 2 xl. Currently 203 lbs size large-xl shirt and size 12-16 jeans.

Shortly after surgery I must have passed gas while asleep and got more than I bargained for and had to throw away my underwear. Never trust a fart!!! Maybe that is what is happening to you?!?!?

I used Dr Valenzuela through Mexico bariatric. My surgery was a month ago :-) went extremely smoothly. No complications. And the care was far better than I received up here in Canada :-) goodluck:-)

I used Mexico bariatric centre. No issues. Easily done. Cost was 4600 plus airfare.

I did!!!! Had the sleeve done January 14 2015. Everything went super smooth. I really liked her and her team. No complications. I'm losing weight and back to work. Honestly couldn't have gone better!!!!

Every time I have a protein shake it cleans me out like that!

I can tell you are frustrated and I don't blame you. Until you can talk to your doctor I would just be careful how you eat. I don't think it is unusual to hit stalls. The surgery is only a tool so you still need to watch what you eat. If you are getting in 60-80 grams of Protein and all your fluids prior to eating other stuff that would be helpful. Do you ever feel full? Or feel like you have eaten too much?? Like I said I am only two and a bit weeks out. Today I ate about 1/4 cup of watery oatmeal for breakfast then had about 6 smoked oysters. Then a bunch of fluids. Hopefully someone with more experience will give you some advice:-)

It does kind of seem Iike a lot. But I annoy 2 weeks out! I think I would be concerned with WHAT you are eating. I think you should be avoiding crackers cookies Cheetos and rice. Are you still losing weight?? Are you drinking lots??

I just had my surgery on the 14th at Mi Doctor. It was good. Clean. Good care. I don't know anything about the other hospital.

All checked in to the hotel. Surgery tomorrow. 2nd pt on the slate!!

I quit cold turkey yesterday. So far not too bad. My surgery is mid January:-)

I asked mine Dr Louisiana Valenzuela and she will for 1500 on top of the 4500 for my sleeve. I am not doing it as I can have it removed for free where I live. Means another operation though. When I asked I did say it was medically necessary as my surgeon here in Canada wants it out due to inflammation.

That review about doctor switching was written by my friend!!!! she is overall happy with her results but it didn't go smoothly when she first got there. She is worried about me going down there. I am using a different doctor though. Her best advice is be willing to walk and lose your deposit.
