Hi Everyone!
I found BariatricPal through one of the many random internet searches for online support & friends while I'm home on recovery. I had my surgery on Oct. 23, 2014 in Maryland primarily to reverse/reduce my type 2 diabetes & just get back to enjoying life!
So far, so good- I have my first post-op appointment on Monday where I'm hoping to finally get off of the liquid diet & feel like I'm actually eating again. I'm most interested in finding other like-minded (read: brutally honest, relatively cynical and FULL of humor) folks who care to walk this journey with me!
