Hey all, well i am home and resting, but it seems everything i take makes my stomach extremely upset. I have been really gasey over the past 3 days is this normal? how long does it usally last?

This is very true, the reason being that that Lane Bryant is a completly seperate company from the lane bryant catolog. It is sort of a long story but Lane Bryant used to be owned by the express company, While they were the express company sold the name lane bryant to the catolog and i think they could use it for 10 years (not exactly sure). Well then Express sold lane bryant the the Charming shops company (they own fashion bug, and catherines). But the catolog can still use the name. I used to work part-time at lane bryant to get a discount on the cloths. I still buy quite a few things there, In Maine they are pretty much the only option I have besides fashion bug. I am counting down the days though that i won't be fitting in their cloths.

I too have UHC, and was approved in about 10 days, very easy to work with and I have yet to receive one bill from 8/25/05

I am def feeling a little more restricted today, than i was yesterday (had a fill on wed). I do have a little bruising around my port area, but i think it is from my surgeon pushing on it so hard since it had shifted and she wanted to make sure she got it on the first try.... Since my fill i am down another 1lb, so it looks like it is doing its job. I just need to learn to stay off hte scale everyday..

i guess i had the internal stitches, with the steri strips on the outside. (to be honest i never really asked, and i just had the stirps on the outside.. haha

I had my fill yesterday, she put in 1cc. It was a simple little pric, Which wan't bad at all, I am on the depo shot as well, so i guess i am used to shots. Although the needle was HUGE.. LOL My port had actually shifted abit, about an inch from where she put she said. No big deal though, She said she she did not get the first time, then we do it under the Fluroscope. (SP) But she had no problems. I really don't feel any more restriction, but i am taking everyones advice, to give it a few days.

i too find that i am def. eating more than i did even a week ago, and am very excited about my fill tomorrow, (we are on the same schedule) I have been stalled on the scale as well, I have not really lost any in the past 2 weeks...

I was banded on August 25th, and am feeling great, I am down 28 pounds. and have dropped 2 sizes in some pants. I am def getting better at the gym, as i spend about an hour doing cardio 4 times a week, something i would have never been able to do. The best part is people are noticing I go for my first fill tomorrow, and cant wait

"I overheard one of my friends yesterday telling someone that she thought I should have lost more weight by now." I have heard this too, i am only 4 weeks out, but i am often times compared to someone they know who had the gatric bypass. And i constantly feel like i am explaining myslef... I am def not a closet bandster, There are times where i wish i did not tell some people i did, but such is life, for the most part i have had nothing but support from everyone

I had a similar experience with UHC. The first fax was sent in april sometime, I was not as ontop of it at first and did not call till mid june to find out what hte problem was. The claim they never received it... Mean time i had to switch surgeons, i had another office submitt for approval and i called them that day, then the next day to make sure htey got it. They finally said they got it on the 15th and it would take 30 days to process. I still called everyday just to make sure... They called me on the 27th to let me know I had been approved.
