Now if only someone could invent a Protein pill for me so I could get a decent amount of protein that would be great. The Protein shakes make me gag!! Stick with it each day gets easier some days I feel like I am wearing training wheels!

I was swallowing panadol minicaps from day 4, somac tablet from day 5 and a natures way mini women's mulitviatamin from day 12. I haven't started calcium yes but will just find the smallest tablet I can get. I hate liquid vitamins and chewables. I must admit the first few times I was nervous. Good luck

I was lucky enough not to have any gas or shoulder pain. I felt miserable enough as it was and it was at least 3-4 days before I could keep anything down. I did read on another forum to help get rid of gas pains to tilt your butt higher than your chest it will help you ummm fart and get it it. Not sure of it works but worth a try if you are in pain.

How did you go at the hospital last night @@sofianoemi?

I am two weeks out. The first couple of days I felt like death. I came out of the General anesthetic really badly and could breathe very well and almost ended up in ICU - I did have a slight cold though so that probably didn't. I still get very nauseous in the AM and was allowed to start puree's yesterday. But the puree's get stuck no matter how small a bite and how slow I eat. I am in Australia and I still marvel at how in the USA you are only in overnight there was no way I was capable of leaving the next day I couldn't eat or drink for about 3 days! I was in for 3 nights ( common practice in Australia) and they tried to keep me for another night! Also with our private health insurance they don't question your comorbidities or BMI if you are covered by insurance (or prepared to pay) you can have the operation. Also our process is quick I went to a talk by a surgeon and five weeks later I had my operation!

Where exactly is the pain? Your tummy is top left just under your breast I think. I was done on 13th nov and the only place I am still getting pain is around the area they pulled out my stomach which is the bottom right incision my dietician said that is common because it is stretched and they often tear or stretch some ligaments and muscles while doing this. I see you are from sydney who was your surgeon and what date were you done? Mine was Dr Steve Liebman at NSP.
