Thanks everyone my RN called to check on me today. Sounds like something a simple enema (TMI!) will take care of. Thank goodness. The pain should be gone in a few days.

It was laparoscopic. I'm hoping that maybe the pain is from constipation or something. But my left side hurts every time I stand up or walk. And the incisions on the side hurt to the touch as well while all the rest don't hurt at all.

Gastric bypass

Hi everyone I had my surgery a week ago and already have about a million questions. I don't know anyone else, personally, that has had the surgery. I'm hoping someone who has had could help me out. I guess my biggest question is about the pain. I know everyone is different, but I'm surprised I'm still in as much pain. Any tips on how to help once the meds run out? Thanks!
