I am finally on the road to bariatric surgery! After a 3 years waiting list to get approval to enter the metabolic surgery clinic I met with the team who will lead me down the road to success...
I have lost 90 pounds on my own but the risk for regain is to high not to continue my weight loss with surgery...I still have 90 or so to go...
I have PCOS and weight loss is a huge challenge...I am ready to better myself. 
 
I have to choose between a gastric sleeve and the bypass surgery. I can have either procedure apparently. 
 
I have an appointment Feb 7, 2015 to follow up on my goals (eating habits, exercise, self help all must be on the right track). If the team is pleased with my progression then I get to meet the surgeons and hopefully will get a date in April, 2015...
 
I am looking for people to share their opinions on the 2 surgeries...also their struggles to success as I look into this next year...Thanks so much
