Hi Karen, my name is Yvonne and I'm having my surgery on April 20th with Dr. Lucktong in Roanoke. I just saw this post so you may have already had your surgery by now. I too am like you in that I didn't want to be in pain all the time from carrying all this weight around all the time! I have had a knee replacement, I am a diabetic , type 2, have COPD, and high blood pressure. My doctor was all for me having this surgery and I am ready for this next part of my journey to begin as you are! Please keep in touch as I really don't communciate with a lot of people but would like to be here if you ever want to come on to just vent! Stay strong and beautiful!
