Sounds like I better get an insurance policy on the wifey's uterus! Sounds like it's not have many pounds to lose but how many inches to gain. I measure mine in centimeters anyway, it sounds much better. Pre-op 12.7cm Post-op goal length 26.2cm Look at all of you googling how many centimeters in an inch... LOL

I had my first visit with Dr. Jay today. My wls is scheduled for 11/20/2014. I am feeling hopeful and encouraged by the possibility of my Type II Diabetes being more in control. In the last fifteen years I prevously had a consultation for Gastric Bypass and Lap-band but did not move forward because of the mortality rates associated with those surgeries. Dr. Jay indicated that he has had 1 mortality in thousands of surgeries and that was an elderly patient that had renal failure.
