Good luck!

Sorry to hear about this. I had my EGD done yesterday as well. No troubles here. It was like I fell asleep and woke up and it was all over with. I didn't get to talk to my surgeon but my wife did and she said all went well. She did mention there was a erosion of my stomach and they took a biopsy. Did your surgeon mention anything like this to you? My wife seems to thing this is standard but it still concerns me. My next apt is on the 11th. Good luck to you, hope you feel better!

Hi everyone. I should be getting my surgery date soon and the doc said it up to me which surgery do I want. I am leaning strongly toward RNY due to my already existing acid reflux issues. Anyhow, I am curious how long after your surgery did you return to work? What type of work do you do? Anyone have any complications from returning to work too soon?

Congrats! Keep up the good work!

How long before you returned to work?

Good luck to you too! I work in Social Services so most of my day is spent in an office as well. I haven't told my boss yet but I plan to when I get my surgery date. -
Experiences with Phentermine?
chuck415 replied to RellaBelle's topic in GLP-1 & Other Weight Loss Medications (NEW!)
I lost close to 100 pounds on phentermine about 7 years ago but after I stopped taking them I gradually gained it all back. I have tried them off and on since but, in my view, they are not an effective long term weight loss solution. -
I don't know about Colorado but in Kentucky the Medicaid co-pay varies depending on what category you fall into. However, I believe the maximum out of pocket expense for a Medicaid patient is $225.

Just wanted to say congrats to all. These stories are so encouraging. -
That is awesome! Hope everything went well!

I understand where you are coming from. My wife laughs because I'm more nervous about the catheter than the surgery itself.

Hey man I am new here as well. I am playing the waiting game too as my new insurance is not effective until Jan.1. Good luck to you.

Guys, what do you consider your ideal pants size ?
chuck415 replied to Alex Brecher's topic in The Guys’ Room
My waist size hasn't been in the 30's since I was a freshman in high school so getting down to a 38 is my first goal. Right now I wear a 48. -
QUESTION: If U had gastric bypass & U had 2 do all over again verses the SLEEVE would U?
chuck415 replied to cindyvirden.com's topic in Weight Loss Surgery Success Stories
I wanted to thank everyone who posted in this topic for their feedback. I am in the very early stages of my journey and am on the fence of RNY vs VSG and reading other posters thoughts has been very helpful. -
Hey has anyone here with Kentucky Medicaid had the surgery? Who was your MCO? What was the approval process like? How much did it cost you out of pocket? Thanks in advance.
