    Rejection sucks!

Have you ever given 100% of yourself or sometimes more and it's as if the other person could careless. I sure hope my dating life gets easier after Surgery. Maybe I'll have the sense to stop trying with those that take me for granted. It's like I'm trying to make up for the chaotic verbal and psychological abuse I survived in childhood. It's amazing that I even know how to show my eight year old love and affection. #feeling down

    Rejection sucks!

I never thought to look away it that way. Thanks.
  9. I won't miss being out of breath when I walk, and being too tired to play with my 8yr old because of my wieght. I also won't miss all the B.S I put up with from men who didn't see my worth and me not loving myself enough to tell them to go. I really wanna learn how to swim and make it a favorite pass time.

Dealing with Setbacks - Ate 2 Donuts This Morning

Kudos for only having 2, I would've eaten the whole by the end of my shift. Lol. Sounds like you're on the right path! Go you! I hope I'm as strong once I have surgery in February.

    Meal Replacements = Bad Skin!

Sounds like me when my body starts to detox or go through withdrawal. Seems like you're eating much cleaner so your body is getting rid of some toxins. I would still contact your Doctor just in case. Good luck and great job sticking to the plan!

    Psychiatric Evaluation

Sounds like he was being nosy. Most therapist are nosy by nature. Lol. Either that or he really liked you. Lol

    Psychiatric Evaluation

My evaluation was about 45 minutes long. She had me fill out a questionnaire to determine if there was depression. Then asked me many wierd questions and wanted me to explain the surgery. I think she wanted to get an idea of if I knew that this was only a tool and that after surgery it still takes work. I passed the eval.

    insure nutrition.medicaid.or.paramount.advantage

So wait....let me see if I understand correctly you were able to get a prescription from the Doctor and apply to insure nutrition weeks before surgery? I also have Aetna and my surgery won't be intil late February early March. Do u have any ideas on when I should submit my info to insure nutrition? I wonder how long it takes for them to respond.

    Any February Sleevers

I'm thinking mine might be late February or early March. I just have two more visit with the Nutritionist (1/7/15) and one more appnt with my surgeon (usually combined with final Nutritionist appnt). Then the final appnt at least in early February. Then the scheduler at the clinic says that they will submit all my Documents to the insurance company. The approval could take up to 3 weeks. Putting the surgery date to late February, early March! I can't wait! !!

    Serious question seeks serious answer!

    Serious question seeks serious answer!

I'm one of those BBW. I'll have to admit that I am primarily attracted to athletic body types in men. But I'm also the type that is drawn to the opposite of myself even in regard to personality and interests because I enjoy learning from my mate. I also like guys who are of a different ethnicity or nationality. I have found that some bigger guys have a hard time keeping up in the bedroom as do I sometimes due the extra weight I've put on. The bottom line is that everyone has their "type" that they go for.

    You got this girl! :-)

Keeping it a secret? Anyone else

I'm in a similar circumstance. My mom is super opinionated and sorta cynical. Lol. Family is important, but they have thier own views and will not always agree with our decisions. And its ok. Everyone including us has the right to go for what we want! As long as you know your doing it for the right reasons. I would tell her. Let her know that it's important to you and how much it would mean to have her support you especially during recovery. You shouldn't have to go to a hotel. God forbid that something went wrong in surgery, your mother wouldn't be able to figive herself of not knowing and not having the choice to be supportive because she was in the dark. Good luck! you can do it!

    Omg so much pain

I'm sorry to hear. I think surgery and the recovery depends on the person. Hope you feel better soon.

    Any February Sleevers

Some days I feel as though its far away too! But I recognize that it's because I'm so excited! February is right around the corner, just depends on how you look at it :-). I've gained a few also, but I'm hopeful about this process. My eating habits are still a mess, but I'm thankful for having implemented a few of the recommendations of the NUT. I know the risks of surgery, but I have faith that things will turn out fine!
