Need help with food ideas
cruise2snorkel replied to Account deleted's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I'm still pre-op but someone suggested to me to purée bean soup and chili, get protein from both the meat and beans. -
It gets easier in my opinion. I'm on day 4 of my pre-op diet which includes no food, 4 "New Direction" products a day.

I sent you a private message devoted04 so I can be added to the Facebook group please.

Pre-op Diet Troubles
cruise2snorkel replied to muzikgal21's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Are the Premier Protein shakes ones that are already mixed and not in powder form? The "New Direction" product I have is powder that I mix. I feel like something already mixed would taste better. -
Where are the November Sleevers?
cruise2snorkel replied to ToccoraVSG's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Hello fellow November Sleevers!! I'm being sleeved November 5 and am excited but nervous. What's everyone doing for the pre-op diet and how is it going? I'm on "New Direction" meal replacement, 4 products a day and having trouble due to the bad taste. -
Pre-op Diet Troubles
cruise2snorkel replied to muzikgal21's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I'm on day 3 of "New Direction" meal replacement and having a hard time due to taste. Required to have 4 products a day and it tastes horrible to me. Have made a few in the wonder with sugar free pudding for flavor, ice and water. Makes it more tolerable but I burp it up for hours afterwards. -
My sleeve date is 11/5 in Michigan. So excited yet nervous. Having a hard time with the pre-op meal replacement "New Direction" because of the taste. What is everyone else using for pre-op?
