goodmorning everyone i have a question i dont know how to post in the forums i got a paper for my pcp dr to fill out saying if i had any exercise ot drug therapy for losing weight my pcp dr is on medical leave and what if it doesnt get filled out do i have to then do a weight lose program for the gastric bypass team or will this paper stop the process its for medicare approval out past try's to lose weight

I am not real sure how to answer this, I had to have my Dr. fill out a paper once a month for 6 months and was told if I missed a month, or went over by even a day I'd have to start over, but when Labor day rolled around and I found it was going to be one day over I called my insurance company and they told me they'd make an exception for holidays, so my advice is call your insurance company and see if a different Dr. can fill it out or one of her Nurse Practitioners.
