Congrats on a huge step...I am on the end of my pre-op diet and its hasn't been too bad. I stuck to the plan and have lost a lot on it...I stay away from other food as much as I can just so I don't even have to smell it but here at work everyone is so supportive I don't mind them at lunch. The pre-op diet is just boring for the most part but keep your eyes on the prize. Even though the pre-op diet is to shrink your liver, you will shrink some too! That becomes motivation or at least it was for me. Good luck and you've got this!!!

The liquid diet pre surgery and the possibility of losing hair are the most frightening things for me about all of this! I did decide to go with the bypass because from all the studies I've read it has the least chance of me regaining weight later.
