goodmorning and my hubby said the same thing cause im bringing my mom to stay with me and he said yes get the operation still don't put it off it will do you some good cause I do have a lot of help but I guess I just don't want to leave my mom cause I have to go 2.5 to get my operation and I may have to stay extra days due to that im not go be in my county its just kinda a lot for me ...I love feed back please keep it coming.....

I'm with your hubs on this one. It's going to be hard to take care of others if you are not in tip top yourself. If you truly have made the decision for wls, make the time. You are like the sun with all the planets orbiting and depending on you to shine.

I am so sorry to hear this. I will think good thoughts for you and your mom. Please don't put off taking care of yourself if you can help it. At 6 weeks post op I feel better and stronger than I have in YEARS. I'm sure your mom would agree that taking care of ourselves is how we are better able to take care of our loved ones.
